Some Manchester United fans were not entirely convinced when the club signed Nemanja Matic from Chelsea in the summer.
Since the midfielder’s arrival, though, he has slotted into Jose Mournho’s system with ease.
The defence-minded player has started all 14 of the Red Devils’ Premier League matches this season, but he could miss Saturday’s showdown against Arsenal at the Emirates.
In his pre-match press conference, Mourinho confirmed that Matic is an injury doubt.
The 29-year-old was substituted in the second half of United’s 4-2 victory over Watford at Vicarage Road on Tuesday night after complaining about a muscular problem.
Mourinho has told reporters that Matic may not play a part in Saturday’s clash, but he will be part of the group travelling to London.
The Serbian’s inclusion in the trip has led some fans to suggest that the United boss is playing mind games with his enemy Arsene Wenger.
Others are more concerned that Matic could be on the sidelines.
