Loads of Leeds fans have been having their say on Tuesday’s win over Reading, and they’re full of praise for Kalvin Phillips.
Phillips was one of the main scapegoats when Leeds fell apart last season, as he and Eunan O’Kane were both really poor under Paul Heckingbottom.
He has been a completely different beast under Marcelo Bielsa though, showing his versatility once again with a brilliant performance at centre-back.

The 22-year-old is best at the base of Bielsa’s midfield, but played in the heart of defence against Reading alongside Liam Cooper.
Cooper was superb as well, but Phillips was undoubtedly the star of the show. He won an incredible eight aerial duels and two tackles, as well as making five interceptions two clearances and one block.
That’s not the reason why Bielsa likes him so much though, and his incredible passing from the back is what will have pleased the boss the most.
Phillips completed 11 out of 18 attempted long balls and 84 per cent of his overall passes, and you can find some of the best Twitter reactions down below…
