Liverpool could make a move for Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard after his move to Leicester City collapsed, according to The Liverpool Echo.

It’s been a busy few months regarding Edouard’s future. He made it clear that he wanted to leave Celtic Park, regardless of who came in to replace Neil Lennon.
The French forward was thought to be closing in on a reunion with Brendan Rodgers at Leicester, however, the Foxes moved on to Patson Daka after failing to reach an agreement with the Hoops.
Liverpool have also shown their interest in recent months, but after a phone call with Reds boss Jurgen Klopp, Edouard wasn’t sold on a squad role at Anfield and they ended their interest.
It appears as if Liverpool could now reignite their interest in the striker, going off recent reports.

The Liverpool Echo claim the Reds could launch a bid for the 23-year-old after a move to the King Power failed to materialise.
Edouard has just 12 months remaining on his Parkhead deal, and he is still expected to leave Glasgow ahead of the new season.
The Verdict: Could Edouard be keen now?
Liverpool ended their interest for two reasons, one of which being Edouard didn’t think he’d get enough game time on Merseyside.
However, after a move to Leicester to rival the likes of Jamie Vardy and Kelechi Iheanacho fell through, you’d have to feel he has a better chance to challenge the likes of Roberto Firmino and Divock Origi – the Belgian isn’t even wanted at Anfield by his own fans.
What is crucial for Celtic is a potential fee they get for the striker, who Lennon labelled as ‘magnificent’, as they owe 50% of any profit to Paris Saint-Germain, so a move to the Reds could actually now suit all parties involved, months on after a transfer appeared off the cards for good.
